The New Zealand Agricultural Show
New Zealand is abundant with farms and the fine folk who run them. For 150 years, the New Zealand Agricultural Show has been a drawcard for the country to come to town, and the city slickers to meet some sheep!
Visitors get to experience the best of rural life over three action-packed days; with livestock, carnival rides, woodchopping, gumboot throwing (yes people love to throw their Wellington boots around here) and all the candyfloss and hot chips you can handle!
For the first time since the Second World War, the New Zealand Agricultural Show won’t go ahead. Due to the crazy year we have had with COVID-19, the hard decision was made to cancel the event. Fingers crossed for a triumphant return in 2021.
