World Rugby Museum, Twickenham

If you take a visit to the World Rugby Museum in Twickenham, London, you will be able to see what the All Blacks uniform looked like in 1905 when the team did their first tour of Britain. You can see that the fern mark has been a staple of the All Blacks’ kit for a long time.

The Original All Blacks (also known simply as “The Originals”) were the first New Zealand national rugby union team to tour outside Australia and New Zealand.

On this tour, over 100 years ago,  it was the first time the All Blacks name was used and because they did so well (they won against every English side they faced) they established New Zealand’s reputation as one of the best rugby nations in the world.
